After completing a Bachelor of Music Degree at the Boston
Conservatory of Music, Mr. Rosen received a Conducting Fellowship
to attend the Graduate School at the Indiana University School of
Music, and was chosen by Leonard Bernstein for private conducting
study after observing Mr. Rosen in a series of master-classes.
Dividing his time between the United States and abroad, Mr. Rosen
has conducted more than 2,000 performances, which include:
Symphonic Concerts, Pops, Opera, Ballet, Music Festivals and
Educational Concerts. Currently, he holds the title of Principal Guest
Conductor of the New Queen’s Hall Orchestra of London.
A winner of multiple international conducting competitions and fellowships, Mr. Rosen was one of
four finalists in the prestigious “Toscanini International Conductor’s Competition,” and was the only
American Conductor chosen to tour with the “Orchestra Sinfonica dell’ Emilia Romagna Arturo
Toscanini” throughout Italy. Mr. Rosen also claimed First Prize in the “International Competition for
Conductors” sponsored by the Jerusalem Radio Symphony Orchestra, and subsequently was
invited to return to conduct a number of concert series, which received critical acclaim.
